On february 3, we had a meeting in the Rrogozhine Municipality with representatives of the Tourism Directorate, the Cultural Center, the Taxation Directorate and the Transport Directorate to discuss the organization of the Festival in the Bashtove Castle, the most special Venetian-style castle in Albania.
With the specialists of the respective directorates, we identified the resources for the organization of the festival, its typology with the aim of creating a natural connection between the Venetian period and the Albanian traditions of culture, gastronomy, costume design and craftsmanship.
Then the visit to the “Qoshku” olive oil factory, a model factory, brought a new input for 4 new routes/tourist itineraries prepared by our experts.
Business administrator Halim Qoshku expressed his willingness to offer olive oil tasting tours for local and foreign tourists in his factory. The Bashtove Festival is organized within the framework of the Routes4Culture Project which is being implemented by Auleda within the framework of the EU4Culture Project which is financed by the EU and implemented by UNOPS with the institutional support of the Ministry of Culture.
