On Monday, 17.07.2023, we welcomed mayors of municipalities, presidents of regions and representatives of international programs in the Republic of Moldova to our office.

The meeting served as an opportunity to get to know more about the work of the Local Economic Development Agency Vlorë (AULEDA), its objectives and operational strategy in the Albanian territory.

In the special meeting, we were honored with their participation by high representatives of the Republic of Moldova, including Mr. Oleg Sanduleac, Vice President of the Edineț Region, Mrs. Ludmila Magu, Mayor of Cupcini Municipality, Mrs. Lilia Pilipețchi, Mayor of Soroca Municipality, Mrs. Valentina Casian, Mayor of Straseni Municipality, Mr. Viorel Jardan, President of Straseni Rayon, Mr. Alexandru Bujorean, Mayor of Leova Municipality, Mr. Victor Baldji, Head of Comrat Investment Promotion Service, Mrs. Cristina Railean from GIZ Moldova, Mr. Sergiu Ungureanu, Regional Advisor GIZ Moldova, and Mrs. Asetila Koestinger from Koestinger Consulting Vienna.

During the meeting, it was discussed about the exchange of experiences and to create new cooperation links on the way to local economic development. At a time when the Albanian and Moldovan communities are involved in a common challenge for economic growth and development, this meeting brought hope and motivation for the future.
